Being a person versus being a gender

Various people, notably my wife, have been urging me to pick myself up off the mat. People have said it to me in different ways:

I can’t believe I’m doing this

Yep. I’m starting a blog. It’s a big step out into the unknown.
But wait–there’s more!–it’s a blog to collect thoughts and musings on my gender transition. That’s the part that’s still a bit hard to believe, but is simultaneously completely undeniable. Life is weird.
I’m going to start by posting a visual model of the gender spectrum that I’ve been working on. I plan to incorporate it into a fold-out wallet card sized Trans 101 brochure.
